He CAN be a sweet boy

Those that know Mason, know he is a handful. I love that kid but he seriously drives me to drink (diet pepsi...PLEASE!) Last night my little family and Grandpa went for a walk around the block. My kids have way too much energy so most of the time they run, so I was running with Mason and then had to stop and wait for Lucas and then run with Jill. So there was a lot of stopping and starting. At the very end of our walk/run I hear Mason yell at me. "MOM, get a move on!" okay I don't know where he learned to be a drill sergeant but I ran. As I am running to him he tells me, "Mom, I have an arrow in my heart and it points right to you!" How random and sweet all at the same time. I guess he does love me despite what he says when he is mad.

Time to Wake Up

Some mornings are harder to get started then others. This morning was a rough morning for Jill. After waking her up she wanted me to carry her to the kitchen table for breakfast. Okay I admit I do this most mornings but I was busy and running behind so I told her she needed to go to the kitchen on her own. So I leave the room to check on the brothers who were having a hard time getting up too. I went back to check on her and she was gone. No longer in bed (mine or hers). I looked in the kitchen she was not there either so I assumed she went and got into bed with her grandpa. This happens on a regular bases too. So I decided it will just be easier to pack clothes for her and take her to daycare in her pajamas. While doing this I hear something move. I thought I was in my room by myself. I look around and see nothing. I look under the bed and nothing. I know I am not going crazy so I start calling Jill and asking where is she…nothing. Finally I look behind my headboard and fine this…

Guess she woke up and was ready to play.

First Incident

This is what my Mason looked like when I picked him up from Daycare yesterday. He is a rough and tumble kid so it was no surprise. I am not really sure what the wounds look like as he is not ready to remove his bandages yet. The best part about the whole thing is he did this to himself. He tripped over his own feet. Maybe now when I tell him to slow down he will listen....okay probably not.
