On Monday night I took my family to Capitol Park for a long over due family photo and to get Jill's 3 year pictures taken. Aunt Mur gave me this photo session as a birthday gift and was happy to come along and help. Erin took some great pictures which was not an easy task simply because my kids are CrAzY!.
Here is a link to her blog that has a sneak peek of some of the photos.

Thanks again Erin for putting up with us and getting some great pictures and to Mur for such an awesome gift and for helping.

The Little Kinder Kid and the Big 2nd Grader
Yesterday was the start to another "FuN" year of school. Mason started Kindergarten and Lucas started 2nd Grade. They were both really excited to start school, lets hope that excitement last longer than 1 day.

Mason ready and waiting to start.

Jill HAD to have her backpack and a lunch since her brothers had one, but No Jill is not in school. Next year she will go to preschool.

Apparently carrying a backpack on both shoulders is not cool. The new thing is to hang it with one strap across your body.
Is it just me or does that look a little intimidating to see on your first day of 2nd Grade?
Mason ready and waiting to start. So it finally happened: While walking Lucas to class after dropping off Mason I went to hold his hand and after maybe 10 seconds of holding hands he pushed my hand away. It is no longer cool to hold my hand. So Sad....I guess I knew this day would come but I didn't think it would come so soon.

The Rain Forest Trip
We did it, we went to the "Rain forest". Okay really we went to Gilroy Gardens but look at the pictures it could pass as a rain forest to a 3 year old, and I think it did. We had a ton of fun.
The beginning of the slide show is the greenery and then there are some pictures of the kids having fun. Special thanks to Andi for taking all the pictures for us.
